No. These are the maximums a station may charge that week. A station may charge less. It may not charge more than the joint order of the regional economy and finance secretariats.
When does a new list start?
The maximums are calculated every seven days. A changed figure takes effect at midnight on Monday.
What is in the maximum?
The regional formula adds four things: the pre-tax weighted average, transport and storage, the fuel tax (ISP), and VAT.
Who sets the fuel tax?
The regional government sets the unit ISP. From 12 October 2026 it is €473.96 per 1,000 litres on unleaded gasoline and €335.93 per 1,000 litres on road diesel, under Portaria n.º 580/2026.
