Privacy

Last updated: 5 October 2026. Madeira Journal is an English-language Madeira news and tips site at madeirajournal.com.

What we collect

• Newsletter email — if you subscribe, your email is stored by Brevo (Sendinblue) on our Madeira Journal list only, with double opt-in confirmation.
• Basic site logs — our host (Vercel) may process standard request logs (IP, user agent, path) for security and reliability.
• Optional analytics — we may add privacy-light analytics later; this page will be updated first.

Why

To send the weekly digest you asked for, keep the site working, and (later) measure which pages help readers. We do not sell your email.

Affiliates

Some links may be affiliate links. If you click them, the partner may set cookies or track the referral so we can earn a commission. We disclose this in the site footer.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe anytime via the link in every newsletter email.
• Email hello@madeirajournal.com to ask for deletion of your newsletter contact (once that mailbox is live; until then use the Brevo unsubscribe link).
